  • ¼ cup full-fat sour cream (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 3 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix sugars, egg, vegetable oil, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

  7. Bake for about 55 minutes until golden brown; cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
