  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • For Ganache: 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped or in morsels
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  3. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar; add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl; fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into petit fours.
  6. For the ganache, heat cream until simmering, pour over chocolate, let sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
  7. Coat each brownie piece with ganache and sprinkle fleur de sel on top.
