  • 1 lb (450g) ground turkey or chicken
  • ½ cup finely diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Sauté the diced onions and minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until the onions are translucent.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed onion and garlic with ground turkey or chicken, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into rectangles (about 4 inches by 6 inches).
  4. Place a scoop of the filling along one edge of each rectangle and roll it up tightly. Seal the edges.
  5. Arrange the rolls seam-side down on a lined baking tray and brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
