  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 cups cornflakes cereal (not heaping)
  • 12 ounces chocolate (for dipping)
  • Maldon sea salt flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Stir continuously for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the cornflakes and gently stir until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated cornflakes onto the prepared baking sheet, pressing them into shape.
  5. Bake for 9-12 minutes, checking halfway through.
  6. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
  7. Melt chocolate and dip half of each piece before placing them back on parchment paper. Optionally sprinkle with Maldon sea salt.
