  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ onion (sliced)
  • 2 celery stalks (chopped)
  • 1 carrot (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the turkey breast dry and rub the herb butter mixture (melted butter, olive oil, garlic, and seasonings) all over the turkey.
  2. Layer sliced onions, celery, carrots, and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and place the seasoned turkey breast on top.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. For crispy skin, broil the turkey for 4-5 minutes after cooking.
  6. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
