  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 ¾ cups whole white mushrooms (washed and dried)
  • ¼ cup cream cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp ground oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter and olive oil. Add minced garlic and washed mushrooms, sautéing for about five minutes until tender.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and stir in cream cheese cubes until fully melted.
  3. Lower heat to medium-low, then add Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for five minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving warm.
