Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets of ready roll puff pastry (Vegan & gluten-free)
  • 6 tablespoons of Vegan Nutella
  • 2 medium-sized bananas
  • 3 tablespoons of dairy-free milk (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons of caster/granulated sugar
  • 1 packet of dairy-free white chocolate buttons
  • 2 tablespoons of icing sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a clean surface and cut into rectangles about 4 inches wide.
  3. Slice bananas thinly. Place a tablespoon of vegan Nutella on one half of each pastry rectangle, topping with banana slices.
  4. Fold the other half over the filling and crimp edges with a fork to seal tightly.
  5. Cut thin strips from leftover pastry and lay across the pies for a mummy effect.
  6. Brush each pie with dairy-free milk and sprinkle with caster sugar.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Once cooled slightly, drizzle melted dairy-free white chocolate for eyes and dust with icing sugar.
