  • 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry (2 sheets), thawed
  • 46 tablespoons Nutella Hazelnut Spread
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry into an 11 x 13 inch rectangle on floured parchment paper.
  3. Spread Nutella over the first layer, leaving edges clear.
  4. Roll out the second sheet and place it over the Nutella layer; press edges to seal.
  5. Cut out a Christmas tree shape using a template.
  6. Slice branches into the tree shape; twist each branch away from the center.
  7. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
