  • 3.4 ounces pumpkin spice instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa
  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • black food coloring
  • 2 red hots

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine spice cake mix, pumpkin spice pudding mix, sour cream, eggs, water, and oil until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips.
  3. Pour the batter into a well-greased bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Allow cooling for 20 minutes before transferring to the fridge for at least 1-2 hours or overnight.
  5. For frosting, beat softened cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add dark cocoa and powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached. Color with black food coloring as desired.
